Monsoon rains, European demand set to keep India's gasoil exports robust

India's diesel exports in May posted a growth of 15.2% compared with the previous month and are set to rise further, as the arrival of monsoon rains is expected to slow domestic construction activity at a time when refiners are reaping rich returns on the back of lucrative refining margins, trade sources and analysts said.

India to allow tax-free import of 4 million mt sunflower, soybean oil

Purchase of 2 mil mt each of crude soybean and sunflower oils exempted

India has waived all taxes on an annual import of 2 million mt crude soybean oil and crude sunflower oil each, the finance ministry said May 24.

The ruling comes into force from May 25 and will be effective for two years, until March 31, 2024, the ministry said in a notification.

Texas clean hydrogen exports to be competitive on global market by 2030: CHF

An expected fall in the cost of clean hydrogen produced in the Houston region using natural gas to $1/kg and electrolysis-based hydrogen hitting $1.50/kg by 2030 is likely to put Texas' low carbon hydrogen in competition with other potential hydrogen exporters, the Center for Houston's Future report said.
